ANU, Gliders and eucalypt
After the hyperspectral meeting in Toowoomba in February, a fwe people showed interest in my work. As a result I was called by Kara from ANU, and asked for some ideas about her project. So on Sunday she flew into Melbourne. On sunday and Monday we had long discussions about the options to use Remote Sensing for detecting food quality mapping. We all were quite excited about the project, which is currently going on. Next week I will go to Canberra to further discuss the project with the rest of her research team.
Anyway. On Tuesday was her flight, in midday. So in the morning we drove to the coast, to have a stroll along the beach. We ended up on the backbeach on the peninsula, where we enjoyed the last (?) warm day of the year, and walked along the rockpools, in search of interesting animals and pool creatures.
Because of heavy traffic, we had a hard time getting back to the airport in time. But we managed, and as we came walking up to the gate, her flight was called: The most efficient boarding strategy you could imagine!
