Big Desert NP
Then we faced a bit of a challenge. Where to go next. We could drive to Melbourne, and be there the late evening. However, we decided to go wild: We started on an other 6-700 KM drive, and drove across Victoria, to the Big Desert NP, which is located on the border with South Australia. It give us a chance to see a bit of the outback-type country, although it was soon clear that we would not reach the real outback. Also, it was an opportunity to get into the desert, which was new to Petra, and for me too long since last time.
